Welcome to the Pinole church of Christ website!

The church in Pinole is a family of Christians who are dedicated to serving God. We meet each first day of the week (Sunday) to both study God's word and worship Him. We do this by a simple service that includes: Prayer - Acts 2:42; Congregational Singing - Ephesians 5:19 & Colossians 3:16; Eating the Lord's Supper each week - Acts 20:7 & 1 Corinthians 11:23-30; Hearing the Word of God preached - Acts 20:7 & Romans 1:15; and Giving as we have been prospered - 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 & 2 Corinthians 9:7.

We believe that our salvation is completely dependent on Jesus Christ and Him crucified. "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 NASU Thus it is our duty to obey Him, both in becoming a Christian and in staying one. "Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation," Hebrews 5:8-9 NASU
